Is this ring real gold plated silver?
I bought a ring from the Amazon marketplace, a replica of the One Ring. It looks nothing like the picture (it said it was the noble collection one) and I’m doubting the authenticity of it.
Its meant to be gold plated sterling silver. On the inside of the band, I can scratch the surface with the tip of a pin. Is this enough to say its fake? What else can I do to test it, and should I just send it back now?
its gold plated that is why you’re able to scratch the tip. the chip of the gold plated are coming off. if the has a stamp that says .925 on it than it is real sterling silver under the gold. if not it’s fake.
